- What hobbies are you into? Playing any games lately?
- My hobbies are programming, cycling, studying Japanese and listening to music. Recently I have been playing Apex Legends and also getting into horror games.
- Why did you want a placement at Scenegraph?
- For my work experience, I was looking for a company that works with software as I am looking to get a career working in the same industry as a programmer in the future. Scenegraph stood out to me as they were local and had a broad experience including working with VR and other technologies.
- What is your favourite subject in school/college?
- Computer science
- What are you wanting to get out of the placement?
- am hoping to develop and learn skills that will be useful to me and help expand my repertoire in development.
- What do you want to do after the placement? Uni or work?
- After the placement I am looking to attend University of Sheffield, studying computer science or software engineering
- What do you want to do for your career?
- I want to build up a portfolio, making small projects and demos through game and web development.
We have set Josepth a few takes over the week;
- Render photogrammetry images so get 3D items online and onto marketplaces.
- Using ThreeJS create an online viewer in javascript.
- Play around with a dummy WordPress file we have made for him.
- Play some VR games.

- What hobbies are you into? Playing any games lately?
- At the moment I have a wide variety of hobbies. I try to keep active by playing basketball for a local team and going to the gym frequently but when I’m at home I play video games to pass the time. My favourite type of games are competitive tactical shooters such as Valorant. However, I try to have an open mind and try all types of genres, especially indie games. I also enjoy building PCs since I built my own one as a learning experience and greatly enjoyed the process and would love to do it again and improve in the future.
- Why did you want a placement at Scenegraph?
- Even though I haven’t considered working with virtual reality or augmented reality as a career path I still chose to get a placement at Scenegraph to help me understand this branch better. Virtual reality has always been an interesting concept to me ever since I used a virtual reality that used a phone.
- What is your favourite subject in school/college?
- Out of the three subjects of maths, computer science and psychology that I’ve picked, I would have to say my favourite subject is computer science. Learning to code, although I’m not the best at the moment, and the theory behind how a computer works is interesting to me, making
- What are you wanting to get out of the placement?
- After my placement, I hope to learn more about what work life is like and how companies operate. I would also like to learn more about the process behind the designs and creation of VR software.
- What do you want to do after the placement? Uni or work?
- After the placement and when I finish my A-levels I plan on going to university since I still feel unprepared for going to work.
- What do you want to do for your career?
- At the moment I am still unsure, I am hoping maybe to work as an AI engineer but I do not have enough knowledge about the career yet so I’m still keeping an open mind.
