Challenge

Pathways To Work specialise in training individuals in the skills needed gain employment.

The aim of the Pathways to Work website was to create a platform that could generate an online presence for the client. Using the client’s input we will be able to build brand guidelines and develop a website that satisfies their needs and wants through clever and clear designs.

     What was needed

  • Convey the branding of the company with the website reaching a larger audience, showcasing their business offerings and course contents, as well as showing their multiple locations of teaching.
  • Use an appropriate web building technology to allow the users to add content without the need for us, as a middle company.
  • Create templates to take care of the backend and frontend of the website, meaning the client does not need to touch a piece of code, just add content and get on with their day job.
  • Set up Google Analytics.

Strategy

Communicating with the client allowed us to understand their brand, offerings, and key requirements for the website and how it will be used to augment their company, growing an online presence.

Using our knowledge of WordPress we were able to develop the backend and design the frontend templates to allow the client to modify their own site going forward. Teaching the client the tools they need without needing to get bogged down in the technicals.

Scenegraph Studios set up Google Analytics allowing the user to know more about who their audience is, who is coming to their site and what content they are interacting with the most.

     Our Strategy Concludes;

  1. Initial meetings – we discussed the needs of the client and how the branding should be presented on the website.
  2. Backend development – Using WordPress to create the layout of the site including pages, text, and images.
  3. Frontend designs – We utilise Avada Theme – Fusion, which allows us to rapidly prototype frontend visuals, increasing output and delivering the project in a short timeframe.
  4. Communication – Talking to the client to teach them how to update their site with new content.
  5. Google Analytics – Setting up Google Analytics to keep track of the site’s traffic and site views, allowing for future improvements.
