The Birkenhead International Film Festival (BIFF), invited us to talk about how we use AI to make movies and concept images.

The BIFF aims to bring together a collective of filmmakers to explore the art of film. https://www.biff-fest.com/

Their last event – 22nd October 2022 was all about Science Fiction. Some amazing films were presented.

The team consists of: Benjamin Loveland, David Harrison, Andrew Shaw, and Ryan Gauge (Andrew and Ryan also run the Convenience Gallery)

Scenegraph asked audience members for sci-fi themed prompts which were then used to create an array of short, 15 second videos during the night.

The point of talking about AI film making is to highlight the speed it takes to make short films, or more importantly, concept films.

The ability to get great results from AI driven content is still a hard job, and wont replace artists just yet.

We feel AI, and Text-To-Image AI is a great tool to enable artists to concept crazy ideas.
